Delete Your Account and Data

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to support@divyadhwanimusical.comfrom the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my Divya Dhwani account". If you signed in with a phone number, include that number instead.
2. Tell us how you signed in (Google or phone). We may reply to confirm the request is really yours before deleting anything.
3. We delete your account and data and confirm by email once it is done.

Email a deletion request

The app does not have an in-app delete button yet, so email is currently the way to request deletion.

How long it takes

We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your request, and usually much sooner.

What we delete

• Your profile: Google account ID, email address, phone number, display name, gender, age and avatar.
• Your points history, streak records and leaderboard entry.
• Your synced japa day-counts and activity events.
• Your favourites (bhajans, wallpapers, paath, suvichar, meditations).
• Your push-notification device tokens linked to the account.
• Your Sadhak Membership record on our server (the purchase token and product ID).

What is not covered by this deletion

• Data on your phone. Your offline japa data lives only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app (or clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps). We cannot see or delete it.
• Your Google Account and Google Play purchase history, which Google holds under its own policies. Deleting your account with us does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase; manage those in Google Play.
• Newsletter subscription: if you also subscribed on the website, say so in your email and we will remove that address too.

Just want to stop sharing data?

You can sign out in the app and keep using everything offline, and you can turn off notifications in your phone's settings, without deleting your account.
